Spectacle

Recording

Verse
I used to get so angry, every time they’d come ’round,
Those fools marching in and out, like they owned this town,
But now I sit and watch them, like a circus show,
The juggling seal, the baboon, and a crazy ex-wife or two.

Chorus
It’s a spectacle,
Just a non-stop parade of fools,
Coming in the revolving door of my life,
Once angered by it all I now sit amused,
By the juggling seal, baboon and ex-wife, or two.

Verse
The seal balances a ball, the baboon twirls a cane,
My ex-wives are arguing, like it’s a never-ending game,
But I’m not bothered by it, I just sit and grin,
Watching this crazy show, it’s like a circus within.

Chorus
It’s a spectacle,
Just a non-stop parade of fools,
Coming in the revolving door of my life,
Once angered by it all I now sit amused,
By the juggling seal, baboon and ex-wife, or two.

Bridge
Life’s too short to take it all too seriously,
I’ve learned to laugh at the absurdity,
Of these characters that come and go,
They’re just a sideshow in my life’s big show.

Chorus
It’s a spectacle,
Just a non-stop parade of fools,
Coming in the revolving door of my life,
Once angered by it all I now sit amused,
By the juggling seal, baboon and ex-wife, or two.

Outro
So let the circus continue, let the fools come and go,
I’ll just sit here in the stands, enjoying the show,
Life’s a spectacle, and I’m just a spectator,
Watching the world’s greatest circus, as it’s creator
